About Me
Liam Cronin (they/them)
I am a qualified counsellor and psychotherapist with a BSc in Counselling and Psychotherapy from PCI College. I have a strong passion for helping others discover and express their true selves. I have a strong passion for social justice and seek to enable all marginalised persons to have their voices heard and needs met.
I am autistic, non-binary and asexual. I understand how difficult it can be to discover who you are in a world that doesn’t fully understand you. Having a safe space to explore feelings around identity has been highly beneficial to me and I hope to offer that same safe space to clients so that they can explore and be their true selves.
I use an integrative therapeutic approach with a strong emphasis on humanistic and existential theory. I offer therapy for a range of issues but have a special interest in the areas of: neurodivergence, anxiety, gender identity, sexuality, kink, and personal development. There is no “one size fits all” method of therapy so I will adapt to meet each individual’s needs.
Before becoming a therapist, I worked as an English Language Teacher in both Ireland and Japan. In my free time, I enjoy bouldering, video games, and tabletop role playing games such as Dungeons and Dragons.
I am a Pre-Accredited member of the IACP (M16224)
